Dramatic Artists

Bitty City Dramatic Artists classes engage your children through a variety of theater games and encourage them to connect to their bodies and voices, while unleashing their creativity.  Our lesson plans draw from leading theater educators like Viola Spolin and Del Close, as well as our years of experience in professional children's theater, and preschool/elementary education.  

​Classes are process-based, which means that we develop and nurture your children's theater skills, without the pressure or competition of scripted final performances and assigned roles, aside from those created by the students themselves.
​
A BCP class provides a fun and supportive space where students work together as an ensemble, while learning how to listen to each other, and feed off of each other's creative discoveries.

Bitty Players
​​​(ages 3-6)

Our Bitty Players classes introduce young children to the fundamental skills of improvisation and ensemble work. We incorporate a range of stories, art materials, and props to cultivate creativity through hands-on connections.

City Players
​​(ages 6-10)

City Players classes are designed for children who are ready for a more advanced theatrical and improvisational experience. Our child-centered approach inspires City Players students to take ownership of their new skills, and create their own original ensemble projects.
